Poster Brings Back Memories

I saw the movie Cabeza de Vaca when it first came out in the early 1990s, and I remember how seeing this specific poster on the way into the theater literally stopped me in my tracks. I actually tried to buy the theater's copy of it way back then when they auctioned it off, but I was outbid. Having my own copy of it now not only takes me back in time and lets me re-experience all the same emotions I felt when I first saw it, but it also lets me share that experience with other people whom I have tried to talk to about the movie.

I encourage everyone to purchase items like this now that they are widely available so that they can share the experiences of their youth with the younger generation. You can try to describe something in words all day long, but there is no substitute for being able to show someone what you are talking about. And having a full-size print of this poster creates a visual impact that you simply cannot get from a picture posted on the internet.
